Wellmind Health's Be Mindful Pathway is now available on the NHS Apps Library after passing assessments for clinical effectiveness, safety, usability and accessibility.

The NHS Apps Library helps patients and the public to find trusted health and wellbeing apps. In order to be approved for inclusion, digital tools have to pass rigorous assessments by the NHS to ensure they are clinically safe and secure to use.

"We are delighted to announce that Be Mindful has successfully completed the assessment for inclusion in the NHS Apps Library. Mental Health is a key priority for the NHS and providing access to apps such as Be Mindful is a part of our ongoing strategy to offer digital alternatives to support citizens and patients with their health and social care needs.”

An NHS Digital spokesperson

Wellmind Health's Be Mindful Pathway is the only clinically validated digital Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) course. Published clinical and academic research studies by leading institutions have demonstrated outstanding and lasting improvements in reducing depression, anxiety and stress.

"We've been working to achieve the highest clinical standards for Be Mindful since its launch back in 2011 so it's exciting to have this recognition. It's clear now that the NHS is moving quickly to bring effective apps into the mental healthcare system"

Richard Latham, CEO, Wellmind Health
