Wellmind Health is delighted to share news of our continuing partnership with the Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust Chronic Pain Team. Pathway through Pain began supporting patients with chronic musculoskeletal (MSK) pain in the Trust's resident population of nearly 300,000 people in 2021.
Comprising of The Pain Clinic and The Pain Rehabilitation Team, the forward-thinking Chronic Pain Team focuses on tailoring treatment to suit the individual and providing help and support to improve quality of life. The Pathway though Pain digital pain management program offers an accessible and flexible treatment that helps participants respond more effectively to chronic MSK pain through the practice of pain self-management methods, exercise, lifestyle changes and cognitive approaches learnt throughout the program.
The Pain Team commented, "If you are self-motivated and ready to learn new tools then this can be a valuable resource for you to help to manage your pain."
Clinicians are also able to monitor engagement, satisfaction and health outcomes in real time through Wellmind Health's specialised platform and dedicated management portal. We look forward to this next chapter of partnering with the Chronic Pain Team and supporting patients to better manage their chronic MSK pain with our class 1 medical device digital pain management program.
