Wellmind Health is delighted to share the continuation of our partnership with Western Dales Primary Care Network (PCN), supporting patients to better manage their chronic pain.
Thirty-seven GPs at three surgeries in Sedbergh, Lunesdale and Bentham supporting approximately 20,000 patients are able to refer patients with chronic #MSK pain onto our Pathway through Pain digital pain management program.
The accessible digital treatment helps participants respond more effectively to chronic musculoskeletal pain through the practice of pain self-management methods, exercise, lifestyle changes and cognitive approaches learnt throughout the program. Through our platform and dedicated management portal, clinicians are able to monitor engagement, satisfaction and health outcomes in real time.
Over 20,000,000 people in the UK live with an MSK condition (The State of Musculoskeletal Health 2024, Versus Arthritis). With average waiting times from GP referral to treatment in Great Britain ranging from 6 to 112 weeks (The Pharmaceutical Journal), Pathway through Pain enables Western Dales PCN clinicians to rapidly prescribe an effective digital treatment to their patients with chronic MSK pain.
